An Ecuadorian worker receives $6.5 million in compensation at a construction site for being hit by a vehicle while working on a demolition. The worker’s attorney Christopher Gorayeb sued the driver of the vehicle and the owner of the building and the construction company in charge of the demolition for not following safety measures and construction laws of having a physical barrier and signs indicating when people are working.
